TAGLIATELLE RECIPE
Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
2. In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes until it slightly thickens.
4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream sauce and stir until it melts completely. Continue cooking the sauce for another 2-3 minutes until it thickens further.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Remember that Parmesan cheese is already salty, so be cautious with the amount of salt you add.
6. Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the sauce and toss it gently to coat the pasta evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
7. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the tagliatelle with freshly chopped parsley.
8. Serve the tagliatelle immediately while it's hot. You can enjoy it as is or accompany it with a side salad or garlic bread.
